About this event
Washington District Ride-In to Grand Coulee Dam
Grand Coulee Dam
The Grand Coulee Dam is an awe-inspiring feat of engineering
that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. Located
in the beautiful state of Washington, it's the largest
hydroelectric power-producing facility in the United States and
is an amazing sight to behold.
Grand Coulee Dam Visitor Center
One of the best resources for information on the Grand Coulee
Dam, the visitor center is located off the side of Route 155 on
the north side of the dam. Exhibits show the history and
construction of the dam, and even play Woodie Guthrie songs. The
visitor center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with
extended hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
“One River Many Voices”
The “One River Many Voices” laser light show at Grand Coulee Dam
will begin running nightly starting on Saturday, May 25 at 10
p.m. Pacific Time through July 31. Beginning Aug. 1, the laser
light show will start at 9:30 p.m., and from Sept. 1 to 30, it
will begin at 8:30 p.m. The show runs for approximately 30
minutes. Start times are subject to change. Tickets are not
required to watch the light show.
